PRODEQUI Laboratory: studies and Atention to Quemical Dependencies
PRODEQUI Laboratory has as its main goal to contribute for the evolution of scientific questions and clinical approaches geared towards dealing with Quemical Dependencies and the involviment of human beings with drugs. In the context of Clinical Psychology, the research focus is on studies to understand the dimensions of the suffering of the person, the family as well as of the contexts in whivh drug abuse is manifested. The intention is to develop and build theoretical-methodologic basis for both preventive and therapeutic interventions in the area. The drugs/alcohol situation is understood from a complexity and systemic perspective. The theme of chemical dependencies challange professionals and researchers and lead both inevitabily to search for interfaces with several areas of scientific knowledge.
